This AIR provides information about the specific requirements for missile hydraulic pumps and their associated power sources.
A-6C4 Power Sources Committee
This document covers external lighting for Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (E-VTOL) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) vehicles. It discusses lights that may be installed both to meet regulatory requirements as well as for customer comfort and aircraft recognition. It also discusses the differences between UAM vehicles and other aircraft and how those differences impact the lighting.
A-20B Exterior Lighting Committee
This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of rolled or forged rings up to 6 inches (152 mm), inclusive, in thickness (see 3.3.1.1.1) and an OD to wall thickness ratio of 10 or greater (see 8.5).
AMS D Nonferrous Alloys Committee
This specification covers a magnesium alloy in the form of investment castings (see 8.6).
AMS D Nonferrous Alloys Committee
This specification covers a nitriding grade of premium aircraft-quality, low-alloy steel in the form of bars, forgings, mechanical tubing, and forging stock. AMS6496 and AMS6497 cover UNS K23280 with other quality levels.
AMS E Carbon and Low Alloy Steels Committee
This specification covers preforms fabricated up through 22.0 inches (560 mm), inclusive, in deposition width thickness (see 2.4) using a wire-fed plasma arc directed energy deposition (PA-DED) additive-manufacturing process on a Ti-6Al-4V substrate that are subjected to post-deposition stress-relief heat treatment. If required by the cognizant engineering organization (CEO), preforms may require subsequent machining to meet requirements for their intended final part application.
AMS AM Additive Manufacturing Metals
This specification covers tools used to install tiedown straps on wire bundles and for installing connector accessory shield termination bands (see 6.1).

AE-8C2 Terminating Devices and Tooling Committee
This document defines a recommended practice for addressing metal additive manufacturing (AM) machine requalification for all fusion-based metal AM machines. In general, this applies to powder bed fusion (PBF) and wire- or powder-fed directed energy deposition (DED) technologies. Plasma, electron beam, or lasers are applicable energy source(s).

This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) covers miniature, composite, high density, threaded coupling, self-locking, circular, environment-resistant, electrical connectors utilizing removable crimp contacts, and associated hardware, which are capable of continuous operation within a temperature range of -65 to +175 °C (-85 to 347 °F). These connectors are supplied under an AS9100 reliability assurance program. See 6.1 for intended use and applications.
AE-8C1 Connectors Committee
The AS81824 specification covers environment-resistant, permanent crimp type splices having heat shrinkable insulating sleeve and meltable environmental seals or heatless sealing sleeves. The splices may be used with tin, nickel, and silver-plated conductors in applications where the total temperature of the splice application does not exceed 200 °C or as specified in the detail specification.
