The purpose of this document is to provide a standard for aircraft fuselage markings located at the doors used for ground servicing operations. These markings can be used by all GSE that will dock at the aircraft. These markings may be used for one or several phases of the GSE positioning relative to the aircraft process: GSE alignment during approach, GSE final docking, and GSE auto leveling. It is not the purpose of this standard to describe the different technologies, cameras, or other equipment that can be mounted on GSE to utilize these markings. The aircraft that may use these markings will have a fuselage diameter of 3 m or more.

The specific gravity obtained by this method is a measure of relative molecular weight of the resin. Procurement specification is principally for defining protection sleeves on a cable or group of electrical/fiber optic wires (wiring bundle). Single wire protection depends on the minimum diameter of the wire. Sleeve may be used to protect a wire bundle for a platform installation or for repair of installed damaged jacket or jacket/shielded wire bundles. Refer to AS50881 for aerospace wire bundle protection installations.

This SAE Standard provides a uniform method to calculate the lift capacity of scrap and material handlers, establishes definitions and specifies machine conditions for the calculations. This document applies to scrap and material handlers as defined in SAE J2506 that have a 360 degrees continuous rotating upper structure. It does not apply to equipment that is incapable of lifting a load completely off the ground. This document applies to those machines that are crawler, wheel, rail and pedestal or stationary mounted.

At the time of document authorship, the technical information cited is most applicable to Li-ion battery type rechargeable energy storage systems (RESS), but the language used is not to be limited by chemistry of the battery systems and is generally applicable to other RESS.

To assure field replacement, it is important that light source types employed be readily available in normal service channels. This document defines the physical, electrical, and photometric characteristics necessary to achieve a proper replacement for popular types of signal and marking light sources. Some of the design characteristics in this document are listed solely for the sake of standardization and are not intended to describe the performance of lighting devices (lamp assemblies) on the vehicle.
