Scope

Content: This document provides general and specific design guidance for the development, installation, and desired operational capability of Cabin Communications Systems, including satellite communications, air-to-ground communications, and gatelink. Supplement 6 incorporates guidance for protection of personal information using methods consistent with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS). The CCS characteristic provides encryption approaches for payment card information and suggestions for key management.
