Content: This standard sets forth the characteristics of MLS receiver processors intended for installation in all types of commercial transport aircraft. The function of the airborne MLS receiver processor is the reception and processing of the MLS azimuth signals, the elevation signals, and the data transmitted from the MLS ground stations.
