The revision updates the Title to match the Scope and identifies material quality, updates composition reporting (see 3.1.1), addresses macrostructure requirements (see 3.4.1 and 8.8), revises hardenability (see 3.4.3), revises decarburization testing procedures (see 3.4.5.5), prohibits unauthorized exceptions (see 8.7), provides options for forging stock (see 4.4.3 and 8.8), and updates recommendations for bar and mechanical tubing (see 8.4).
