AMS5860H is the result of a Five-Year Review and update of the specification. The revision updates composition reporting (see 3.1.1), adds pyrometry controls (see 3.5.2), adds strain rate requirements during tensile testing (see 3.5.2.1.3), updates product exceptions requirements (see 8.5), and adds ordering information based on heat treatment requirements (see 8.6).
