AMS3147 Marking Materials for Use on High-Temperature Alloys

This specification defines the requirements for in-process and temporary marking material used on nickel, iron, cobalt, and titanium-based turbine engine components during processing or manufacture. Control is required as marking material may contain deleterious or low melting point elements that could negatively affect performance.
