This document provides guidance for oxygen cylinder installation on commerical aircraft based on airworthiness requirements, and methods practiced within aerospace industry. It covers considerations for oxygen systems from beginning of project phase up to production, maintenance, and servicing. The document is related to requirements of DOT-approved oxygen cylinders, as well to those designed and manufactured to standards of ISO 11119. However, its basic rules may also be applicable to new development pertaining to use of such equipment in an oxygen environment. For information regarding oxygen cylinders itself, also refer to AIR825/12.

This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) provides information on the possible methods of sealant removal. The discussion will focus on the methods of sealant removal and give the strengths and weaknesses of each method.
AMS G9 Aerospace Sealing Committee
This document contains recommended practices for the effective control of non-deliverable software. It addresses practices for control during the development, production, release maintenance, and retirement of non-deliverable software, as well as for software procured from outside manufacturers and incorporated in the production, evaluation, test, acceptance or calibration of processes. For the purposes of this document, the terms software and non-deliverable software are considered synonymous.
G-14 Americas Aerospace Quality Standards Committee (AAQSC)
The purpose of this SAE Recommended Practice is to describe the terms yield strength and yield point. Included are definitions for both terms and recommendations for their use and application.
Metals Technical Committee
This SAE Recommended Practice has been established for the purpose of providing design criteria and suggested dimensional proportions which may be used for ball studs and ball stud socket assemblies as used on steering systems or control mechanisms of passenger vehicles, trucks and off-road equipment. The recommended practice does not cover all applications. It is intended to provide assistance in obtaining functional satisfaction and interchangeability. The inclusion of dimensional data in this report is not intended to imply that all the products described are stock production sizes. Consumers are requested to consult with manufacturers concerning stock production parts.

This SAE Recommended Practice establishes a single bolt pattern for the No. 1 clutch housing (see Figure 1) and the No. 2 clutch housing (see Figure 2). These four bolt patterns are designated to give commonality of mounting brackets in existing frame rails. The 420 mm (16.5 in) span, pad face to pad face, allows the ease of installation in existing frame rail widths. This is also the minimum spacing which will accommodate commonly used clutches.
Truck and Bus Powertrain Committee
SAE Aerospace Information Report AIR1871 provides valuable insight into lessons learned in the development, implementation, and operation of various health monitoring systems for propulsion engines and drive train systems. This document provides an overview of the lessons learned for ground-based systems, oil debris monitoring systems, lubrication systems, and Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) for military and commercial programs. For each case study, this document presents a brief technical description, the design requirements, accomplishments, lessons learned, and future recommendations. The lessons learned presented in this document represent a fragment of the knowledge gained through experience when developing and implementing a propulsion health management system. Previous versions of this document contain additional lessons learned during the 1980’s and 1990’s that may be of additional value to the reader. This document will be maintained as technology progresses so that
