This SAE Standard establishes the test procedure, environment, and instrumentation for determining the sound levels of snowmobiles in the stationary test mode. This test method is intended to provide an accurate measurement of exhaust and other engine noise and may be used to evaluate new and in-use snowmobiles to determine compliance with noise control regulations. Sound level measurements obtained with this test method are not intended as an engineering determination of overall machine noise. For this purpose, the use of SAE J192 is recommended.

E-25 General Standards for Aerospace and Propulsion Systems
This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) covers ULDs utilized in finding submerged aircraft. Such ULDs are installed within the aircraft in a manner that they are unlikely to become separated during crash conditions. The low frequency ULD should be attached to the airframe in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations in order to maximize the underwater detection range. ARINC Standard 677 also provides installation guidance for Low Frequency ULDs.
A-4ULD Underwater Locator Device Working Group
This SAE Standard covers general, dimensional data, and methods of test for two types of general purpose nut and conical spring washer assemblies, designated Type LN and Type HN, intended for mass production and other operations where speed and convenience are paramount factors.

This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of welding wire.
AMS F Corrosion and Heat Resistant Alloys Committee
The objective of this ARP is to provide a set of user-centered design guidelines for the implementation of data driven electronic aeronautical charts, which dynamically create charts from a database of individual elements. The data driven chart is intended to provide information required to navigate, but it is not intended to supplant the aircraft’s primary navigation display. These guidelines seek to provide a balance between standardization of equipment with similar intended functions and individual manufacturer innovation. This ARP provides guidelines for the display of an electronic chart that can replace existing paper. This document addresses what information is required, when it is required, and how it should be displayed and controlled. This document does not include all the detailed specifications required to generate an electronic aeronautical chart. This document primarily addresses the human factors aspects of electronic chart display, and does not address the software

This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) covers specification requirements for a rotary plow with carrier vehicle. The primary use is to cast heavy concentrations of snow approximately perpendicular to carrier vehicles across and away from airport operational areas, such as runways and taxiways. Rotary plows equipped with spot casting, or loading chutes are also used to cast snow in directions through approximately 100 degrees to the left or right of directly in front of the carrier vehicle, and also to load trucks or trailers used to haul snow away from removal area. The term “carrier vehicle” represents the various self-propelled prime movers that provide the power necessary to move snow and ice control equipment during winter operations.
G-15 Airport Snow and Ice Control Equipment Committee
This SAE Standard was developed to provide a method for indicating the direction of engine rotation and numbering of engine cylinders. The document is intended for use in designing new engines to eliminate the differences which presently exist in industry.

The objective of this document is to provide a recommended practice for the development of aerospace EPS dynamic models so that models developed by different companies/industries/governments/etc. will have a basic level of compatibility and interconnectivity. This will be crucial as the aerospace industry looks to solve the challenges of the 21st century through integrated vehicle optimization. This document focuses on model interfaces and their interconnection. Other than these boundary characteristics, this document does not attempt to describe or regulate the inner workings of individual component models. AIR6326 defines the four-level paradigm for aircraft EPS MSAT studies. Of the four levels, Device Physical, Behavioral, Functional, and Architectural, only the first three are dynamic models. Further, the Device Physical level is too detailed and not intended to be interconnected to other EPS models. Thus, only the middle two levels – Behavioral and Functional – will be covered by
AE-7M Aerospace Model Based Engineering
The scope of this joint EUROCAE/SAE report is to compile the considerations relating to airborne application of hydrogen fuel cells. This document provides a comprehensive analysis of the use of hydrogen as a fuel by describing its existing applications and the experience gained by exploiting fuel cells in sectors other than aviation. The use of hydrogen fuel cells in aircraft can help in meeting aviation environmental targets (including noise pollution) and can be vital to achieving efficient electrically propelled air vehicles. The experience gained with mature fuel cells in terrestrial applications and the handling of other gases in aviation, as presented herein, will help in alleviating safety concerns and in demystifying the usage of hydrogen in aviation.

The technical architecture defined in this document outlines mandatory, emerging, and needed standards to provide interoperability at key interfaces in the aircraft/store system (including an associated NATO Network Enabled Capability environment), as required to support a future plug-and-play aircraft/store integration capability. These standards relate to services and protocols associated with the subject interfaces. Modeling standards to facilitate the Model Driven Architecture® (MDA®) approach to system definition and implementation are also included. Note that the status of referenced standards as reflected in this document is as of August 2007, and document users should check to see if there has been a subsequent change of status relative to applicable standards.
