The scope of the analysis is on the GlobalPlatform Secure Element (SE) and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) standard specifications correspondence to SAE J3101 recommended practices. This analysis includes focuses on the platform specifications but not the scope of any future security application/applets. Both of these GlobalPlatform specifications have associated protection profiles to validate compliance, although GlobalPlatform does not currently have any specific SAE J3101 protection profiles. GlobalPlatform has communicated that it is assessing whether or not to develop application-level protection profiles to more explicitly cover the remaining requirements of SAE J3101 in order to allow for standardized testing and certification of complete solutions.

The fraction or percentage of the heat of combustion that is converted to useful work is a measure of the thermal efficiency of an engine. Thus, a knowledge of the heat of combustion of the fuel is basic to the engineering of automotive engines. This SAE Information Report provides information on the standardized procedures for determining the heat of combustion of fuels that may be used for automotive engines. The changes to SAE J1498 include: SAE Publications - Added SAE Paper 2010-01-1517 Other Publications and Sections 5, 9, and 10 - Updated ASTM alphanumeric designations and titles. This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) contains requirements for a digital time division command/response multiplex data bus, for use in systems integration that is functionally similar to MIL-STD-1553B with Notice 2 but with a star topology and some deleted functionality. Even with the use of this document, differences may exist between multiplex data buses in different system applications due to particular application requirements and the options allowed in this document. The system designer must recognize this fact and design the multiplex bus controller (BC) hardware and software to accommodate such differences.
