The purpose of this document is to establish guidelines for determining the critical R134a and R1234yf refrigerant charge for off-road, self-propelled work machines as defined in SAE J1116 and agricultural tractors as defined in ANSI/ASAE S390. It will develop a minimum to maximum refrigerant charge range in which the HVAC system can maintain proper operation. Operating conditions and characteristics of the equipment will influence the optimum charge. Since these conditions and characteristics vary greatly from one application to another, careful consideration should be taken to determine the optimum R134a and R1234yf refrigerant charge for the HVAC system.
This SAE Standard provides general and dimensional specifications for beaded ends and hose fittings. These connections are intended for general applications in low-pressure automotive and hydraulic systems on automotive, industrial, and commercial products. The fittings shown are designed to be used with hoses that are intended to be retained by hose clamps. It is recommended that where step sizes or additional types of fittings are required they be designed to conform with the specifications of this document insofar as they may apply. This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) defines the requirements for polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lined, metallic reinforced, hose assemblies suitable for use in aerospace hydraulic, fuel, and lubricating oil systems at temperatures between -67 and 450 °F for Class I assemblies, -67 and 275 °F for Class II assemblies, and at nominal pressures up to 1500 psi. The hose assemblies are also suitable for use within the same temperature and pressure limitations in aerospace pneumatic systems where some gaseous diffusion through the wall of the PTFE liner can be tolerated. The use of these hose assemblies in pneumatic storage systems is not recommended. In addition, installations in which the limits specified herein are exceeded, or in which the application is not covered specifically by this standard (for example, oxygen), shall be subject to the approval of the procuring activity.

This document describes a physical layer utilizing Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable with extended stub lengths for flexibility in ECU placement and network topology. SAE J1939-13 specifies the diagnostic connectors used for off-board connection to a vehicle’s SAE J1939 communication links. The defined diagnostic connectors support connection to the twisted shielded pair media (refer to SAE J1939-11), the unshielded twisted pair (refer to SAE J1939-15), the twisted pair (refer to SAE J1939-14), and the twisted unshielded quad media (refer to ISO 11783-2).
SAE J1939-82 compliance describes the compliance tests and procedures to verify an SAE J1939 electronic control unit (ECU) operates correctly on a SAE J1939 network. The purpose of these compliance procedures is to generate one or more test documents that outline the tests needed to assure that an ECU that is designed to operate as a node on a SAE J1939 network would do so correctly. SAE does not certify devices and these tests and their results do not constitute endorsement by SAE of any particular ECU. These tests are presented to allow testing of an ECU to determine self-compliance by the manufacturer of an ECU. The manufacturer can use its record of what procedures were run successfully to show the level of compliance with SAE J1939.

This specification defines test methods and requirements for validation of solderless crimped connections. This interface standard applies to fuzes/fuzing systems (referred to as fuzing system hereafter) in airborne weapons that use a MIL-STD-1760 type interface. It defines the powers, the discrete signals and the serial data interface for the communications at the interface between the fuzing system and the remainder of the weapon, including the weapon control unit. The Class 1 interface is an electrical only interface that facilitates use of MIL-STD-1760 type platform store interfaces for the fuze to monitor intentional release and defines the fuze interface bus communications protocol to allow sending and receiving data from fuzing systems. Class 2 interfaces add a defined connector and additional interfaces to facilitate the exchange of compatible fuzing systems. Class 3 interfaces add further interface definitions to facilitate the exchange of AS5680A compatible fuzing systems components. The requirements of this document apply to pistons and rings of reciprocating internal combustion engines and compressors working under analogous conditions, up to and including 200 mm diameter and 4.5 mm width for compression rings and 8.0 mm width for oil rings.
