Truck and Bus Electrical Systems Committee
This specification covers a low-alloy steel in the form of bars, forgings, mechanical tubing, and forging or tubing stock.
AMS E Carbon and Low Alloy Steels Committee
E-25 General Standards for Aerospace and Propulsion Systems
The purpose of this SAE Information Report is to provide general information relative to the nature and use of eddy current techniques for nondestructive testing. The document is not intended to provide detailed technical information but to serve as an introduction to the principles and capabilities of eddy current testing, and as a guide to more extensive references listed in Section 2.
Metals Technical Committee
This SAE Standard presents the basic size and tolerance information for the design and manufacture of thrust washers. In most cases, the standard employs nominal figures in both metric and inch-pound units and, therefore, does not necessarily provide exact equivalents.
SAE IC Powertrain Steering Committee
This SAE Recommended Practice is applicable to pneumatic Passenger Car “P” Type, Light Truck Metric, and Light Truck High Flotation tires, or similar tires approved by bodies other than Tire & Rim Association. The methodology is applicable within normal operating ranges of vertical load and inflation pressure, and for velocities between 115 km/h and 15 km/h (71 mph and 9 mph) during a relatively short duration event such as a coastdown. This procedure is applicable only to operation in the free-rolling mode at zero slip and camber angle for ambient temperatures between 20 °C and 28 °C (68 °F and 82 °F) and for surfaces with diameters of 1.2 m (48 in) diameter or greater. Details regarding the equipment, tires, and test methods used specifically for validation of this document are included in Appendix A. Two basic measurement methods covered by this document are as follows:
Highway Tire Committee
This SAE Recommended Practice is part of the SAE J2534-2/X_0500 set of documents that extends the SAE J2534-1_0500 API (version 05.00) specification, and defines how to implement user datagram protocol (UDP) within the SAE J2534 API framework. This document details only the changes from SAE J2534-1_0500 and items not specifically detailed in this document are assumed to have not changed. An SAE J2534-2/17_0500 interface shall be compliant to the UDP feature only when all the required functionality in this SAE Recommended Practice is implemented. Any functionality not required for compliance will be specifically marked as “optional” in this document. This document must be used in conjunction with the SAE J2534-2/13_0500 (ethernet), SAE J2534-2/16_0500 (IPv4), SAE J2534-2/15_0500 (IPv6), SAE J2534-2/BA_0500, and SAE J2534-2/RE_0500 documents.
Vehicle E E System Diagnostic Standards Committee
This specification covers plain rod end bearings, corrosion resistant steel (CRES) or alloy steel, which are self-aligning and self-lubricating by incorporating polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in a liner between the ball and race for use in the temperature range -65 to +325 °F (-54 to +163 °C).
ACBG Plain Bearing Committee
This SAE Recommended Practice applies to three-point hitch (Type A) backhoes as defined in SAE J326 when mounted on either an agricultural tractor as defined in ANSI/ASAE S390 or other off-road self-propelled work machine as defined in SAE J1116. This criterion is intended for the manufacturer of the backhoe, whether or not the backhoe is manufactured or marketed by the same company that manufactures or markets the propelling machine.
OPTC1, Personnel Protection (General)
The objective of this document is to provide a classification of AI techniques that may be used in AI-based systems for aeronautical products. Aeronautical products include products in Airborne and Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Air Navigation Systems (ANS) domains for crewed and uncrewed aircraft. This document is: Intended to provide an understanding of the AI space, which will improve over time Not intended to provide guidance, objectives, or safety considerations A scenario builder for AI technologies, in particular supervised learning The publication of a taxonomy document for the aviation domain is an opportunity to support other AI standardization initiatives that will also publish taxonomy documents. Disclaimer: This document provides content to support other products of the SAE G-34/EUROCAE WG-114 Committee.
G-34 Artificial Intelligence in Aviation
This document describes the design, assessment methods and physical requirements associated with material handling systems. This would include, but not limited to manual dollies, small lot systems and kitting. All possible designs and applications could not be anticipated in creating these guidelines. Where there are questions of adherence to this document, such as use of an “off-the shelf” design, always consult the responsible Ergonomics Department.
USCAR
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) covers the design, construction, performance and testing requirements for hand held aircraft tire inflation pressure gauges with valve stem attachment chuck to be used with all aircraft types. The ground-based gauges in this specification are those which are designed to read the tire inflation pressure from a position adjacent to the tire.
A-5C Aircraft Tires Committee
This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) establishes the characteristics and utilization of 270 V DC electric power at the utilization equipment interface and the constraints of the utilization equipment based on practical experience. These characteristics shall be applicable for both airborne and ground support power systems. This document also defines the related distribution and installation considerations. Utilization equipment designed for a specific application may not deviate from these requirements without the approval of the procuring activity.
AE-7C Systems
This SAE Recommended Practice covers the safety alert symbol intended for use on construction and industrial equipment as defined in SAE J1116 and on agricultural tractors and machinery as defined in ASABE S390.
HFTC2, Machine Displays and Symbols
This document sets forth design and operational recommendations concerning the human factors issues and criteria for airborne collision and avoidance systems. The visual and aural characteristics are covered for the display of traffic information as well as the escape maneuver display on conventional and electronic flight decks. System utilization philosophy and flight deck integration considerations are also presented.
