VW Restraint System Developments-Design and Performance

This report outlines technological possibilities for positively influencing the usage rate of three-point seat belts. Possible solutions are presented which relate to the belt location within easy reach, position of the belt in relation to the body, belt comfort in use, belt noise and optimized performance.
