VTOL Aeromechanics from 1974 to 2024 and the Future - Advanced Vertical Flight

This presentation explores the non-conventional yet impactful role of Advanced Vertical Flight (AVF) in the 50-year history of the Vertical Flight Society's Aeromechanics Conferences. AVF encompasses innovative approaches to vertical flight that go beyond the capabilities of traditional helicopters by addressing challenges they cannot meet effectively or efficiently.
