Vehicle Operation Under Arctic Conditions

VEHICLE OPERATION UNDER ARTIC CONDITIONS IVECO has delivered 10.000 vehicles for low temperatur operation to the Soviet Union in 1975/76.

THE PAPER WILL give an account to the experiences IVECO has got from operation of these types.

ACTUALLY A NEW generation of vehicles for low temperatur use is created analogical to the changed basic model a normal control version 6×4 and 6×6 of IVECO's further development. The main differences of the equipment will be shown also regarding to the upgraded demand for operation until temperatures down to −60° C.
