THE USE OF VIRTUAL PRO'IOTYPING IN LONGBOW AND RPA

The Longbow Apache and Rotorcraft Pilots Associate programs make extensive use of rapid, virtual cockpit prototyping. These programs, now underway at McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, use virtual prototypes of the crew station to refine the cockpit information management strategies used on these "glass cockpits" of the future.
