Use of Taguchi Techniques as a Process Development Tool for Carpet-Covered Door Panel Production

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the use of Taguchi experimental methods as a development tool for designing a manufacturing process for inner door panels. Through analysis of experimental results, it was possible to identify critical manufacturing variables, as well as demonstrate inherent process capability.
