Trolley Assist for Electric Drive Trucks

Trolley assist continues to receive interest from users of electric drive haulage trucks. This paper discusses some of the reasons for this interest and discusses features of the trolley assist systems, including the truck controls. The paper also includes a hypothetical example which compares the performance of a conventional diesel electric truck to that of an electric drive truck with trolley assist.
