Abstract
Content
The invasion of inexpensive quality automobiles and the opening of a world market has forced the automobile manufacturers to reassess the typical customer-supplier relationship. This has forced job shop suppliers to make major investments and wide ranging changes to the organizational structure and systems. This has not been done without problems and confusion, however, the rewards are great and the effort worthwhile.
