The advantage of the fuel economy and convenience of motorcycle, such as low cost products, low fuel consumption simple handling, small parking area, etc. is the reason for the continous increase of demand and development of motorcycle industry in Korea.
Even in the period of oil crisis, the motorcycle production have been increased continously, but automobile industry had to faced severe decrease of business. For the transit time of automobile industry, the motorcycle was contributed to the transportation system not only city traffic but country side of Korea, as two & three wheeled vehicle.
In a few years, subway transportation as Seoul and Busan and is the reason of reorganization of city transportation system from up town to the subway station. This report will review the back-ground of motorcycle development in Korea and observe the variation of engineering innovation export, etc.
