- This paper describes the current state of a reliable system architecture being developed by Eaton. The project objective is to suggest a generic fault tolerant architecture suitable for a variety of applications relevant to Eaton businesses. Included are descriptions of the hardware and software architectures as well as underlying assumptions and concepts. First experimental results are also presented.
