- A comprehensive five year energy program has been implemented at International Harvester in order to alleviate or avoid the impact of future fuel problems. It is estimated that the company could realize a potential savings of $1 million per every 1% reduction in fuel consumption.The three areas to which their efforts are directed are energy awareness, conservation, and supply and strategy.
