The results of a three-dimensional coupled rigid body and control system dynamic analysis are presented for a backhoe mechanism. The results demonstrate how a fully nonlinear rigid body analysis can be coupled to controls system equations that incorporate feedback and hydraulic fluid compressibility. The results show how the position, velocity, acceleration, and system forces can be predicted using computer simulation methods.
