Technology For Rotorcraft Integrated Analysis And Design (TRIAD)

The "Technology for Rotorcraft Integrated Analysis and Design" (TRIAD) program is a multi-company National Rotorcraft Technology Center (NRTC)/Rotorcraft Industry Technology Association (RITA) initiative formed to implement the results of a previous NRTC/RITA program called "Integrated Helicopter Design Tools" (IHDT). The nature of these two programs is to; in IHDT, create an environment where the design process can be assessed, updated and expedited using new, multi-disciplinary design tools and frameworks for collaborative engineering. TRIAD then implements these new tools and processes; not only by adding them to the design process but assessing improvements through integration of the tools and updating current design practice and use of data for these tools.
