The Systems Role in the Development of Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Batteries

A successful subsystem development must be properly guided by an interactive systems activity. Development targets must be derived from the overall Program goals and recognize the interactive nature of all the vehicle-related considerations. Data requirements must be generated in order to support system-level evaluations at each phase of development. A logic-path process and a systems methodology for creating goal sets are discussed.
