Content
Super car on the running specific fuel consumption (R.S.F.C.) is studied as an attempt to pursue the minimum fuel consumption of car. A special vehicle, carrying only one person with a weight of about 38 kg, is manufactured and then tested of the performance. A maximum R.S.F.C. of 1000 km/ℓ is confirmed on a flat course with the vehicle, although it is its own driving method.
This report describes confirmed vehicle performance characteristics. In particular, by analysis of running of vehicle and completion of high-accuracy computer simulation (C.Sim.), unknown quantities of performance are determined, Various new ideas, invented during the manufacture of the vehicle, will contribute to the future car and the driving analysis and high-accuracy C. Sim. In use will also apply in the future car fortunately.
