Subsystem Status Monitor

Sikorsky Aircraft, under contract with the U.S. Army Applied Technology Laboratory, Ft. Eustis, Virginia, prepared preliminary designs of an advanced Subsystem Status Monitor (SSM) for the reduction of crew workload during the monitoring of helicopter subsystems. Summarized below are the results of the subsystem monitoring information requirements analysis; design of display logic, formats, and content; and the functions of proposed SSM elements.
