- The deformation characteristics of ring rolling for forming of bevel gear blank is studied on the basis of our experiments. The reason for causing each defect is analysed, and measures for solving them are proposed the methods for designing beat blanks is given. Upon them, satisfactory bevel gear blanks have been got in experiments.
