This study aimed to absorb and capture CO₂ emissions from small engines by investigating a method that atomizes a CO₂-absorbing solution. We investigated the conditions necessary for atomizing the sprayed droplets by utilizing the relationship between the surface tension of the droplets and the surface free energy of the impingement plate with surface textures.
