The pressure is on for trucks to perform more efficiently, more economically and more safely. Truck design and technology, consequently, must keep pace with today’s needs and anticipate future pressures. To do this, many challenges must be faced.
Challenges include energy because of high fuel costs, durability because no one can afford downtime caused by vulnerable materials, and new safety standards.
Structural foam molding of engineering plastics offers an efficient, economical way to meet these challenges through strong, rigid, large molded parts.
