- In the last 20 years, in western Europe, the power capability of commercial vehicles has doubled, whereas the braking power available has only increased by 40%.Due to the emphasis on economy, safety and increasing traffic density, the importance of continuous braking systems for trucks and busses is of growing significance.Voith has developed a new line of hydrodynamic continuous braking systems for commercial vehicles for installation on tractors as well as trailers. These solutions offer the possibility of integration into the powertrain's management system.
