- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) International Space Station contains several thermal/fluid systems. The Integrated Thermal Analysis (ITA) Group at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace/Houston (under Task Order to the Prime Contractor) performs the integrated thermal analyses for thermal verification of various Space Station configurations. A SINDA/FLUINT model of the Temperature and Humidity Control system (THC) was constructed in support of this effort. This paper presents the modeling strategy used in creating a THC model with SINDA/FLUINT. Also presented, are a sample of results from the THC model as it was used in analyzing Space Station Flight 6A.
