Abstract

A six degree of freedom isolation system has been developed for the cockpit crew module of the Boeing Model 360 helicopter, an advanced technology demonstrator. Analyses, bench tuning tests, an aircraft shake test and flight test have demonstrated the effectiveness of the system. Flight vibration levels on the floor near the copilot seat at the dominant 4P frequency for 200 knots are ±.06g vertical, ±.02 lateral and .02 longitudinal.
