Authors Abstract
Content
When developing Diesel engines, some key points will always exist: minimizing noise, reducing internal friction - ultimately fuel consumption - and preventing liner cavitation. To reach economically these targets, the assistance of sophisticated simulation tools is necessary.
By means of some selected examples, the simulation procedures and the quality of their results are demonstrated.
