- A driver and vehicle model has been developed in order to analyse the transient behavior of a four wheel steering vehicle (4WS). The simulation of two driving situations (entering into a bend, and a sudden lane change test) shows that the control of the rear steering delay is necessary to optimize safety and efficiency during critical driving situations.
