Content
There are presented results of investigation of pulsed component of lightning current formation with an amplitude up to 160 kA and microsecond front on the real objects with the help of transportable units. Using of magnetocumulative generators (MCG) coupled with a device providing the voltage multiplication appearing in the process of electric explosion of conductors at the separate inductance contours, allowed to create transportable units convenient for testing large scale objects. They have been applied in field testing of loaded objects, which were located directly at their own places with all their connections and working regimes. Parameters of various loaded objects differed significantly, namely, the inductance of loading contour for multipliers was from several tens up to hundreds microhenry, and the resistance was varied from Ohm fractions up to several tens of Ohm. In addition there are presented results of numerical calculations illustrating further possible applications such units intended for modeling of pulse component of lightning current.
