- Content
- Soil, the growing medium for crops, and its different properties have higher significance for precision farming. Thus, development of sensors or sensing techniques for determination of different soil properties in a quick and cost-effective way is very crucial for precision farming. This study reviews the state-of-the-art methods/techniques for sensing selected soil properties such as soil texture, organic matter content, soil moisture, nitrate/nitrogen and soil pH.
