- In order to solve the problem of mutual interference between vehicle-mounted millimeter-wave radars, this paper studies the most widely used frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar. First, the working mechanism of the FMCW radar is mathematically modeled, and the interference mechanism of the signals between FMCW radars is analyzed from the two perspectives of power size and signal waveform. Combined with the relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars, a joint interference suppression strategy is proposed, and three actual scenarios of following a car, meeting a car, and crossing the road are selected to verify it. Finally, according to actual requirements, a 77GHz frequency band millimeter-wave radar microstrip antenna is designed, and its beam scanning and low sidelobe weighting method are verified.
