- Scholars typically will present histories as chronological events of specific occurrences or happenings. Topics have or will be written and presented which perhaps are supported by the industries formal documented files covering chronological progression of actual devices and covering functional changes of these devices. Research of related material to present these specifics will be left to my colleagues in the Agricultural Industry.Conscious of this effort and the requirement to extend rather than to repeat what has been or is anticipated to be presented, this history will cover another significant but equally as interesting a topic more befitting to our current interests. The topic is “Reliability History of Electronics in Agriculture”. In lieu of formally documented details this presentation is a mundane perspective based upon experience; but before we embark upon the subject to any extent and in the event there are those of us who don't fully appreciate or understand what Electronics in Agriculture means, this is an appropriate time for an attempt at a formal definition.
