Rapid Technology Insertion Into The T700 Growth Engines

The T700 growth engines are 2500 SHP class turboshaft engines under development for application on the S92 and NH90 helicopters. These next generation engines have successfully applied new technology using demonstrator programs funded by IHPTET and IR&D. This paper describes the engine, program status, the method used to rapidly incorporate new technology, and some examples on the T700 growth engine.
