In this ever-changing world the Total Quality Management (TQM) is an important way to manage the organization. It involves management, engineering system and empowerment of all people of the company.
The companies with focus in project there are a team with one specific goal, or project. The members of this team came from different departments, each one with specific goal. For example the logistic would be major focus on the delivery, the engineering in the drawing, the project manager tends to focus in the costs and time during the offer to customer, etc.
This paper has the objective of highlighting the necessities of the quality concepts knowledge to non-quality specialists in the project team. My objective is to argument the design quality against the control of quality during production.
There are situations occurred during the project that would impact in the quality of the project and consequently the cost and time. If the processes have non-quality philosophy they will impact in the start of production. The TQM philosophy does need to start during the design to warranty the lean production in to the product lifetime.
The key point is to change the quality responsibilities from the quality departments to all team involved in the project. It means to talk about quality in very simple worlds, very friendly, understandable by everything in to all organization.
