Abstract
Content
Commercial vehicles of medium and heavy payload have been built without greater changes in the basic design for the past 50 years in spite of many shortcomings as for instance too great centre of gravity travel, too small usable area or volume, some difficulties in adaptations for vans and containers, etc. In order to eliminate these disadvantages a set of equations has been derived giving minimum c.g. travel, maximum usable area and bigger stiffness. As a final result a quite new form of a lorry has been designed.
