Project Management for the Modification of Multiple Major Manufacturing Systems in an Operating Factory

Today's business environment demands reduced costs and quicker project completion time. We are further restricted and asked to reduce personnel. As a result, we are asked to produce more than ever before, faster and using less money. One tool for increasing efficiencies is to utilize project management techniques and adapt them to managing multiple projects. This paper briefly introduces the concepts of project management and focuses on multiple assignment environments in a manufacturing environment.
