- Users of diesel engines are constantly looking for ways to reduce costs of operation by re-using major components. Case histories will be cited where remanufactured components such as cylinder blocks, crankshafts, camshafts, connecting rods and valves were re manufactured using accepted engineering and production practices to produce the component that would reliably meet the vigorous demands of industrial diesel engine requirements.
