Abstract
Content
Even if the sound intensity measurement (SIM), the most advanced sound measuring technique, has been used in the field of automobile noise control for over 6 years, there are still many technical problems pending for further research.
Some of the problems involving the influence of sound source frequency features on the measuring accuracy of sound intensity (SI), application of SI map inside the automobile cab and the use of taperecorders are discussed in this paper and some useful results are presented.
