Abstract
Content
The application of eletronics technology has improved the performance, comfort and convenience of passenger cars, trucks, and buses in the past decade. The effects of the tighter governmental regulation of exhaust emissions, the consumer concerns of economical fuel consumption, and the recognition of passive occupant restraint system, on top of the rapid development of new application/technology of eletronics, have made the eletronics system inevitable in the design of cars, trucks, 8 buses.
In this paper, the author reviews the nature of the eletronics system, the applications, the reliability techniques, the correlation among simulation, the laboratory experiment, 8 field performance, and the control plan for automotive eletronics system 8 sub systems.
Due to the scope of the paper, the report will focus on the hands-on practical approach for the eletronics systems reliability, instead of the institutional approach of theory 8 principles.
