During the Flight of the French spationaut J L CHRETIEN aboard the Soviet Space station SALIUT 7 an experiment calléd POSTURE, aiming to study the principles governing the adaptation of the posture control mechanisms in 0g environment was conducted.
The results obtained before during and after the flight with the specific equipment developed by the BERTIN Company, show there are two types of adaptation of the central program of posture regulation to weightless ness a fast adaptation, appearing at the beginning of the flight and a slow adaptation which is seen at the end of the flight.
