PERFORMANCE TESTING of WHEEL-BEARING LUBRICANTS

PRESENTED here is a description of the apparatus and procedure developed for the performance testing of wheel-bearing lubricants.

This work was conducted by the Program and Analysis Group Working on Grease Projects of the CLR General Division of CRC, in response to a request by the U. S. Army Ordnance Department. Dr. Adams was appointed chairman of the special panel for this project.
