Abstract
Content
Aircraft fire fighting and rescue vehicle design is determined by several critical factors necessary to rapidly accomplish the rescue of occupants of aircraft involved in accidents or threatening situations. These critical factors include time constraints, the area of response, the terrain to be traversed and the characteristics of the emergency. Vehicle performance requirements can be established by identifying and analyzing these elements.
