Orscheln Company recognized certain changes in the market demands for industrial quality push/pull cables and initiated steps to fill this void. Few changes in the basic aproach to supplying this field have been made since the original ACCO cable patent (no. 3,015,969) in 1958. Emphasis on quality products and extended life requirements demand a rethinking of the development and production of a system that can satisfy these demands in the current environment.
